  : This was my second stay at Great Lakes, last year I stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. This year I stayed in one of the King size bed rooms, which are in the building across from the queen size bed rooms. Much different experience last year! This year my room was 308, the tub had been painted from aqua to white at some point, but is now peeling and you had to lay a towel down in the bottom of the tub to shower , sitting down to take a bath is not possible because of the condition of the tub. The second night we had heavy rains, and the roof leaked, water pouring in making sleep impossible. At 7:00 a.m I walked to the office to report it and the owner smiled and said thank you for telling me I did not know, but that was not true because you could clearly see where the ceiling had been repaired in the past. Never once did he apologize or offer to walk to my room to access the situation, we left shortly after.
  : The tub could have been replaced, and the leak in the roof repaired correctly so when the storm came in the nigjt we did not have water pouring im our room.

  : Place is not fancy however it is clean and bed was comfortable. Staff is amazing always helpful.

  : My only suggestion is that the WiFi needs to be upgraded. The signal was so weak that we had to use large amounts of our phone data. My wife also suggested that a mirror outside of the bathroom would be nice.

  : The rooms had clearly been updated, so it was nicer than I expected for a motel. The bed was clean and comfortable. The staff were really nice and helpful.
  : As with most beach hotels and hotels in general, the carpet felt grimy. Everything else seemed clean.
