  : Breakfast was light - there was cereal, fruit (apples and oranges) and some pastries available, but nothing hot. Very basic. Coffee proved to be sporadically prepared, depending on the staff working any given morning. So, some days it was ready to go with plenty available, whereas, other days we found ourselves making coffee ourselves because it hadn't been set up properly the night before. But the coffee bar was set up well with all the supplies one could want. (Real half & half, sugar and sugar substitutes, depending on your taste, etc.) The lobby area is super adorable and comfortable - both upstairs and downstairs - and is always clean and welcoming. Staff is only present from about 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, but within those hours they are very helpful and attentive. The location is hands-down the best thing about this hotel. It's right along Lincoln, which is the main street in downtown, so you can walk to all shops and restaurants. SO convenient. Of the other options available, this is the best. Room was very clean - though we had one of the Queens, so it was very small. If we stayed again, we would try for one of the larger rooms.
  : We arrived after hours (at around 9:00 pm), so had to coordinate via text with the staff to get our room, given there is no one checking in after 8:00 pm. The directions were fine, and we got "our" key easily enough - but when we went to the room assigned in our note, the key didn't work. We called the number for security - as directed "if there was a problem" - and were told that we should have been assigned to the room across the hall. So, we tried that door instead and, YAY, that door worked with our key! Problem was, when we opened the door, we discovered that room was CLEARLY occupied by someone else. (SO glad that person wasn't there!) We called security back and they said, "Well, maybe it's the room next door to that?" We went down the hall (staying on the phone with security at that point) and THAT room was actually propped open - also occupied! (Again, no one there, thank goodness.) So, security has to dispatch someone to come to the hotel - as we waited with all our stuff in the hall for 10 minutes - and get us the proper key to the original room we were assigned. Fortunately, that room actually was all ready for us.We discovered the room itself was tiny. We were just two people - but it was still tight. NO storage at all except the closet - and we noted they actually could (should) have put a small dresser in place of the table and bench on the wall opposite the bed. The night stands were merely shelves attached to the wall. They did have lamps that had contact charging bases - thoughtful. Also no counter space in the bathroom - just a pedestal sink. Fortunately, there was a bit of storage in the medicine cabinet above. The only light was in the mirror/medicine cabinet - so the shower was dark if you showered at night.They did have off-street parking, but that was tight as well. We had a big truck and needed the parallel spots on the side.

  : The location was perfect and free parking. We had some problems with the AC but the GM, Geoff was extremely accommodating, very responsive, apologetic and he resolved our problem with a smile. It’s an old hotel, not much room in the bathroom but for one night it was sufficient.
