  : THE LOCATON
  : the room was not clean and the pictures dont look like the room at all. The main concern, was the amount of mold / fungus / damp coming from the bathroom and into the bedroom. The owners have to have known about it as some bits were painted over. For the door to rot that much from the inside it must have been like this for some time. The bed itself had a build up of dust/hair/skin on the headboard. The cushions on the bed had stains/hair all over both sides. The air conditioning unit was full of a build up of dust - not just 1 night build up. The cupboards inside and outside were filthy as were the floors. We were mis-sold by the property on the cleanliness and the state of the accomodation. 5 star with views and parking and what looked like good photos. We did not want to have to sleep in a place that is hazardous to our health. we asked the owners for a better solution which they did not do. A room to die for, does not look anything like the owners description its more like a room to die in.

  : It is easy to get to from Kings Cross train station and there are great bus links. Big Coles supermarket within a couple of minutes walk. Plenty of glasses, cutlery and crockery. Bed was comfortable, view was excellent, parakeets were good to watch. Good cupboards and big fridge. Plenty of hot water in the shower, but be very wary when turning it on as it gives a huge blast of scalding water.Friendly apartment block and I felt very safe there.
  : The huge window collected the sun so the apartment was really hot in the day. Can’t open the windows as the parakeets will get in. The rear was open to the wind with louvre windows which didn’t close so it was cold at night. Very noisy from the traffic at the back, the building design amplifies road noise. Apartment address and hugely long set of instructions with link to property manual are sent 24 hours in advance which is hopeless if you are travelling with a phone and no local internet.

  : How close it was to shops and cafes. Bed was comfy. Everything was clean and well presented and easy to find. Good shower pressure. Plenty of cutlery crockery and cleaning supplies.
  : The entrance to the actual apartments were quite smelly due to the rubbish bins. Not the hosts fault. however no real heating/cooling system apart from a peddlestool fan which you cant seem to choose the temperature on so did get quite hot and stuffy inside the room.

  : The location was the only good thing about this property. But there are better ones around the corner.
  : Very run-down building. The sewage pipe in the toilet was leaking when we arrived. Green colouration around the bathroom tiles near the toilet bowl indicated that this was not a new fault. We informed the management immediately when the leak was noticed. The management was not prompt in making arrangements to fix the leaking pipe. We were only informed of a plumber coming to fix the pipe around 1100h the next day after we had already left the apartment - the management was going to give him a spare key to enter the apartment in our absence. We expressed our concerns *multiple times* about having a stranger enter the apartment in our absence as our work laptops and passports were not secured as the apartment didn't have a safe, but the management was insistent on continuing with their plan. Our concerns weren't even acknowledged by them. We had to change our plans for the day and rush back to the apartment to collect our belongings. Fed-up with the way we were being treated, we moved to the Larmont hotel down the road, which turned out to be fantastic. Other issues: Live baby cockroaches were spotted in the kitchenette area and we got bitten by mosquitos at night.

  : Photos are outdated, shower is really short especially when you’re tall like me. Some of the kitchen items were dirty like they hadn’t been washed properly.
