  : The hotel is perfectly situated for sightseeing, restaurants, shopping and the cable car to the beach (15 minute walk). The rooftop pool, although very small, was a godsend to have in a central hotel and was in fact the main reason for booking this particular hotel. The breakfasts were very good with plenty of fruits, pastries, breads, cold meats etc.
  : Just a couple of minor points. We booked the top floor suite and on reflection, although it was handy for the roof top pool, we didn't have the benefit of a balcony. Also, very misleading - in the description on booking.com it states that there is a private pool as well as the rooftop pool - this is not the case as there is no private pool! Also, although there are free toiletries, these are limited to a small table of soap and shampoo - no conditioner or body lotion - which i think is pretty standard in most hotels nowadays. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, which would have been a nice touch. One other negative is that the shower (over the bath) is actually in the bedroom with no door or shower curtain - so not a great deal of privacy which could be awkward depending on who you're sharing with...!

  : The location was fantastic. Right in the heart of Taormina town. 3 star hotel so not expensive and a bit run down but exactly what we wanted. Regret not getting a taxi from the station. A big walk up hill but you dont know until you get there Very good breakfast in the garden which was lovely So pleased we chose to stay up in the town and not down at the beach. I loved the pool on the rooftop. Main reason I chose this hotel. Lovely view from up there.
  : Staff seemed to struggle to keep the breakfast going at times. Had to wait a While to get replenished.

  : The location is perfect for visiting all Taormina. The pool area was nice albeit small. The male receptionist was super friendly.
  : This hotel is not worth the money we paid (just under 600 for 2 nights). Although the rooms are decorated fairly nice, the beds were hard and uncomfortable, rooms small and no where to put your belongings, i.e. shelves, drawers or cupboards. Same problem in the bathroom. Plus no sockets to charge electrical items. There was no bar, the terrace was bare and uninteresting. The worst part was on checking out I was met with a very rude female. She already spoke to me very condescendingly at breakfast when I asked for 2 coffees, she repeated, "coffees, well what type of coffee", she had no manners and spoke down to me. We were in a rush and just left the key on the reception, after a few seconds she came running out SHOUTING, "room 304, you haven't paid your city tax!". Her manner was vile and tried to humiliate us in front of other guests. (I was under the impression, we had paid at check-in, I wouldn't have dreamed of walking away if I knew we hadn't paid, it was just 12 euros!!) I asked her for her name, she said she doesn't have to give me her name, I calmly advised her that as a representative of the hotel, if a customer asks her name she should give it. She told me Maria, (although I wasn't sure that was true) I explained we were in a rush to pick up our hire car and I would never have walked away if I knew we'd owed money, I also advised her how rude she was and how poor her customer service is. She just continued to be rude, with zero manners and even tried to involve another guest who was standing there. She was awful and I left the hotel and Taormina with a negative impression. She is definitely in the wrong job!

  : The hotel is in a good position being just above the main street and near to the bus stops for getting around.and the reception staff very helpful. however thats as good as it gets. We much enjoyed the area, the town the ambience and would happily go back to taormina
  : The pictures of the hotels facilities and rooms do not reflect the actuality. The rate of what to me was a basic glorified b&b with cold coffee left me thinking id been ripped off, rarely have I posted negative reports and have not done so now without consideration but the final straw was the electrics tripping out a couple of times on the floor our room was on and no reason supplied plus the lift was not always functioning properly.

  : We arrived on a night where there was a concert - after 2 hrs driving couldnt find a spot in the carparks (1000capacity!) the reception at hotel were fabulous - he tried many solutions and in the end special access & even helped direct into the very tight parking!! - 10 stars location is super central, loved pool on rooftop
