  : The ethos is great and the evening staff for dinner were very friendly and helpful Position of hotel is good surrounded by some of the best shops and restaurants/cafes in Totnes
  : The breakfast was a little over cooked, especially the bacon and staff in the morning were pleasant but not that attentive Room was small and clothes had to be hung over the kettle and tea making facilities which was not great Our room had absolutely no view just overlooking a roof but not terrible We dined in the evening at hotel and it was a bit hit and miss so not wonderful but ok

  : The calmness of the place was fantastic.
  : It couldve done with a lounge downstairs near the bar to read a paper. It was either and drink or be in the room. Another option wouldve been nice

  : I stayed at the Bull Inn for 4 nights for a work trip - it was a lovely place to stay and I'm glad I chose it. The check in process was easy and when I got the wrong door code in the early hours of the morning, I called the late night phone number and someone answered immediately to let me in.
  : The staff that checked me in were lovely but I found some of the service staff to not be welcoming. When I would come into the dining area, a simple 'good morning', a smile or 'good evening' would have gone a long way. It was a real mix but because of some staff, I didn't feel entirely welcome.

  : The free included breakfast was really delicious, coffees and drinks were also fantastic. Loved the pubs emphasis on organic produce. Pub had a great atmosphere morning, noon and night, was in a gorgeous spot at the top of the high street and the decor in our room was really beautiful. Loved all the vintage decor, radio and colour scheme. Loved that there wasnt a tv actually. Adults and kids had a wonderful time - close to lots of amazing attractions nearby (and we were carless).
  : Would have been great if there had been some toys / books / games for kids in the cupboard stash. The food in the pub is amazing and the staff were really nice but could be more family-friendly with a couple of extra touches :)

  : We liked - Decor/comfy bed/tea and coffee in room, additional supplies readily available/could come and go without going through the bar area/delicious breakfast included/had 2 lovely evening meals in the restaurant/the menu was just a little bit different from the usual fare - very welcome, so nice to be able to try plant based meals prepared professionally/well kept ales on offer
  : We didn't like - Lack of parking (no fun moving the car around several times during our 2 night stay - exacerbated by wet weather). I appreciate there isn't much that can be done about this but nevertheless it was a nuisance. Note the car park opposite The Bull is for a maximum stay of 1 hour, consequently of limited use.
