  : The room is small; but big enough to be comfortable. The mattress is not like what we have in the USA; its kinda like a thick futon/cot mattress on a frame. The Breakfast included was large and really good, I was surprised. I really expected just tea and a piece of toast, not a nice buffet. Anyways this is a ancient city; Im sure my room was a few hundred years old already so tourists who book here have to keep the age of the city/building in perspective. Ive paid twice as much for the most disgusting Days Inn while trapped in a stow storm driving cross country on I-95 south. For Americans; this hotel is still a 5 star compared to motel 6 or days Inn. What I loved about the location was the customer service and how great the staff was. I would highly recommend staying here because the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff are a tight nit team who are extremely helpful. The hospitality from everyone was amazing. In the end it was exactly what I needed; a affordable room that didnt break my bank account and the staff made me feel like I had chosen a 5 star resort. Also I found the location a short 15 minute walk from anywhere I needed to go. Conclusion; its a old place but the great staff and their hospitality/team work really make up for the flaws of the room. The hotel owner really owes his employees a lot of gratitude. They are why I would recommend this hotel for others.
  : There is a lot of small things in my room that needed to be repaired; air conditioner on/off switch was broken; the covers to outlets where about to fall off; usual run down hotel stuff. I do recommend they start giving two pillows also. If my room had gone through some basic maintenance and had the wall paper replaced; I wouldnt have noticed. A good maintenance man should be able to fix it up nice again. I will say the TV worked great and was a very modern flat screen.

  : Good location, 20 min walk to San Marco square and 5 min walk to a market, on lagoon side. Property with exit to a small canal and an ok restaurant with 30% discount for guest. Clean.
  : Quadruple room with windows to an unattended garden and lots of mosquitoes. No WiFi in the room. Small beds uncomfortable.

  : It is not good for me. My room has not internet connection while I purchase the room with it. The room was very cold at night. And hotel stuff has not any reaction. Lack of internet in my room cause a serious damage to my work . Who is responsible?

  : The breakfast was excellent. The dinners were, too. The staff are exceptional, very accommodating. Many speak several languages. The location by the Salute church is convenient and easy to reach. The main building is lovely.
  : My room was 1/4 of the size pictured. The bunkbed was uncomfortable. The unattended door was open most of the day. The wifi didn't work in the wifi area in the building that I was in. The maids are very overworked, so I had to wait nearly two hours after check-in for my room.

  : I really liked the location,In my favourite district of Venice. The price was good and breakfast included.
  : Well, I just stayed one night and that was enough. I booked it because it was a good price for 53. But even though it was not really worth it. I booked a single room, they gave me this room with a bunk bed. The room was quite small and with that bed in it, made it even smaller. I couldnt even watch the Tv, because the bed over mine covered it. And didnt feel safe to sleep on the top with no protection/gates on the side. The bathroom needs to be updated!! Cracks in the clinker, the shower doors I couldnt close and they were not properly in order. They have just put them together with tape and clips to make them stand. It did feel they put me in old cleaning cupboard, they have just put some furniture in to make some more money! Like Peter Sellers in one of the Pink panther movies, when he gets a room in the basement.The staff was friendly, but the girl who showed my room. Seemed stressed and didnt really care.

  : I was a guest in Ca' Messer Leoni 5 hotel from 16 to 19.09.2021, room No 44, reservation made by Booking.com. During a stay I was bitten by the bed bugs located in this room. My whole body was covered by the bite marks (see the attached photo) and I have the medical confirmation, that the bites were made by the bed bugs. The infection ruined my whole trip and I and the consequences are strong. The hotel still did not reply for my emails and messages via website.
