  : The location was excellent, very close to Rialto bridge
  : The entire property stank of Chlorine. The smell was so strong we got headaches. The person from our group with asthma had a very difficult stay. The smell was worse than a comunist hospital. We couldnt even keep the windows open because the mosquito nets were so old and terrible they were not keeping the mosquitoes out. We think there were also bed bugs or spiders as the bites were 3-4cm in size. We also only had one single set of keys for a group of 4 people. The keys had the electricty card connected so anytime anyone had to leave we would not have electricity. It was almost impossible to plan anything separately since we only had that ondr set of keys. We were also forced to recycle in 3 ways and the trash only had two sections so we had to keep a trash bag outside to keep with the rules. The couch was horrible. It made the worst sound when you sat down as if it was almost breaking and was extremely uncomfortable so we never sat down. The TV was terrible. The water boiler for tea was so old and disgusting we had bits of limestone in all our teas so we couldnt use it. We were provided two finger sized bottles of shower gel for 4 people for 4 nights!!! There was no soap to wash our hands. The pillows and mattresses were like stone. There are also no double mattresses on the double beds, there were two single matrices which kept moving and made sleeping horrible. I can go on for days horrible!

  : Very central location. From the train station take a ferry to Rialto and then only a couple of minutes walk. Very close to all the main sights of Venice. Decent sized kitchen, small but nice dining area. Decorated beautifully. On arrival, the power wasn't working. Building maintenance were very quick to respond.
  : Zero interaction from host. Primary bedroom and bathroom had a terrible smell. The apartment overall was very dark. Wall between the second and third bedroom did not go to the ceiling. Beds were two singles pushed together (which us uncomfortable if you stray towards the centre). Several long dark hairs in the main bathroom's shower and toilet area. If you have a maintenance issue, hope it happens before 5pm! We arrived to no power. Thankfully the maintenance man came quickly, and it was sorted by 4.30pm. Apartment is up several flights of narrow stairs (no elevator) which is challenging with heavy suitcases. Be aware the trash must be taken between 6.30-8.30 in the morning to a nearby location. If you'd like to sleep in and miss this window - you're stuck with it for another day.
