  : The room was clean and in a beautiful location
  : Unfortunately our key to the appartments broke. We called the owner to ask what we should do. She was very upset as it meant noone would be able to get into the apartments. She insisted that we would have to pay for a locksmith and we would have to pay in cash. She said this would be 150 euros. We said that as this is an accident we were not prepared to pay and certainly not in cash. We are her to check if this was covered by her insurance. She became increasingly abusive. Said that we had left a door open to the set of apartments that we were in and she was going to call the police. We are pretty sure we didn't leave the door open... but let's say we had, it's hardly a police matter. She also said that the key breaking was no accident. We were locked out for 3 hours from 4.30 to 7.30. She gave us no replacement key so we had to ask the bar next door to let us into the apartment building. The latest they could let us in was 11pm. Our one night in verona was ruined by one small incident. We have had 50Euros taken from our damage deposit which we will discuss with booking.con. I will happily forward her watts app messages if there is any dispute about what was said. We also had asked for a room with an extra bed as we didn't want to share a double bed and this was confirmed by booking.com. However on the day, when we checked, she said this was not possible but she had upgraded our room and we should be happy... we decided it wasn't worth arguing about. The property is lovely but the owner is not variable of dealing with things when anything goes wrong. Be aware that you also have to check in b4 6pm.

  : Noisy AC - only 2 coffee cups - bit of hassle on the phone with the person responsible to get the keys

  : A bit unkept, although clean, the walls had marks on them, the soap tray had old soap stains, small things like that

  : At a frst class location in the historical center, we found a cosy room with balcony on the Piazzetta Navona. Excellent offer (we just would not recommend to people with reduced mobility: 2nd floor without elevator)
