  : Great location and only 15 minute walk into the centre of York. It has lots of on street parking with is free and local food shops a short walk away. Netflix in both living area and bedroom and has ironing board and iron which is always a bonus! The apartment is decorated to a high standard.
  : The kitchen was missing some essentials: dish soap, something to wash dishes with, oven gloves, tin foil and kitchen roll. The shower tray filled up very quickly as the drainage down the plug wasnt very good. Had to turn shower off for a couple of minutes to allow the water the drain and turn back on again.

  : Okay so first of all, we didn't expect it to be so close to everything we needed. There's an M&S and plenty of restaurants within walking distance - and about 10minutes walk to the city center. It was just perfect for us! We were 3, so we took the 2 bedroom unit (21C) which had some stairs - so if you have suitcases keep that in mind. But the host Chris drove there to help us with our bags, which was super nice! Sally was a breeze to coordinate everything with, such a friendly voice. The unit itself was large and spacious - bedrooms were clean, spacious - beds were super comfortable. Full access to hot water anytime you need it. HUGE TV that came with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, as a family we had dinner together and watched a movie every night. AND, best of all, they kept two large umbrellas on the coat hanger which came in SO SO SO HANDY for us. Like who does this, it's the little details that count. Oh and for when it was hot the first night, there's a fan in the living room which helped. Other days were shivering cold (go figure) so we didn't need the fan. After a week here, it felt like home. We all nearly teared up when leaving. Thanks to our amazing hosts Sally and Chris! P.S. - We had an incoming shipment which we couldn't ship to our unit, but Sally asked us to ship to her address and dropped it off to us instead, which was so incredibly nice. If we ever visit York, there is no other place we will stay at :)
  : Well I'm REALLY nitpicking here but pretty much the only real complaint we had was that the kettle and the cutlery were dirty. Cutlery was just dusty. Kettle was proper filthy on the inside - like coffee had been made in it but it hadn't been washed ever since. Microwave took a couple of tries to get right, but maybe that was just us being dumdums. We did encounter 2 decent sized spiders, but only in one of the bedrooms. Not a big deal, but gave us quite the fright. TV Remote stopped working (even after we bought and changed batteries) on the last night of our stay, but it was an LG Smart TV, so thanks to some quick google-fu I found an app that I used to control the TV instead. So no harm done. Overall, small wee issues that honestly we just glossed over. You just can't regret staying here. It's not possible.

  : The area with property was private, and the accommodation was a decent size.The property was well stocked with basic requirements and clean and tidy.
  : The seating in the apartment was beyond uncomfortable.The settee was no more than a hard bench. The outdoor furniture was also a let down, small and shabby.
