  : It was within walking distance to the centre of York
  : The inspection after visitors previous to us wasnt carried out properly and was disappointing. The no. 58 mugs had stains in. The view from the window was not good because of the dirty windows which had finger marks and looked like they hadnt been cleaned for a long time. The window handle was broken therefore it was not secure and could have easily been opened from the outside . It would have been a nice touch if there was a complimentary basket of miniature chocolate bars with it being based on the Rowntrees site.

  : The cleaner was still there on arrival even though we had permission to arrive early so no need to use key safe. The location was perfect for getting into the city. Great parking.
  : The bed was too small and it was very hot in the room. People walked right past our window so didn't feel we could keep windows open as it was noisy. The fan provided was ineffectual. Sofa also not very comfortable.

  : Big space, clean, everywhere within walking distance, lovely restaurants around. Rooms were quiet, quiet area, good-sized smart tv, WiFi. Everything you would need for your stay away.
  : Car parking - entrance is very tight if you have a large car. Advice if safe to do so go through the exit arch.
