  : Was a new apartment, in close proximity to York centre
  : Poor communication with rental agency, no resolution of serious safety problem despite constant attempts to request assistance. No air conditioning although advertised , no instructions regarding apartment other than tv and coffee maker! NO FIRE INSTRUCTIONS within apartment. Only 1 towel, 1 cup, bowl . plate, knife, fork and spoon per person. No toiletries and only half a toilet roll.

  : Good - clean and spacious apartment for toddler to run around in, free parking downstairs, close to York centre, we had a lovely holiday but its a massive shame about the apartment.
  : Bad - they told us they would charge us extra if we arrived an hour later than check in time - we arrived on time then had to wait 30 mins for their staff to clean the property and to let us in, not ideal with a little one! We had to call the company to get instructions of where to go as entrance wasn't clear - it is the icona building. NO TOILETRIES PROVIDED at all so take your own (cheeky as they are not cheap apartments) Bare minimum washing up liquid and no tablets provided so couldn't even use the dishwasher or wash anything properly - with a toddler this was HARD! We asked for extra liquid but they didn't reply to us! Bare minimum toilet roll provided - we asked for a replenishment but was advised they would contact a local team who would be in touch but this never came. Had to chase up again to be told theres nobody available as staff are self isolating. Wouldve been nice to have been contacted rather than having to chase this up! We enquired when they would come to empty the bins - we have stayed at other expensive hotels/apartments where they came in every few days for cleaning - this company told us we would have to take bins out ourselves!!! We did not come on holiday for this - on top of this they hadn't even supplied extra bin bags! Main concern was a massive SAFETY issue of the balcony door not locking - we were specifically told by the person who let us in that the balcony door was locked - this door is in fact damaged and we were unable to lock it at all! A massive safety issue with a toddler!!!!! In the end we had to co-share with toddler as we didn't feel safe leaving him in his own room. If you fancy a hot shower or bath then don't bother as the water in the kitchen sink is boiling hot but the water from the bath AND shower runs MILD AT BEST! U definitely CANNOT run a warm bath.

  : fire/smoke alarm had been disconnected and left under the bedside cabinet. disappointing that this wasnt addressed when we reported through Booking.com. very unclean. shower leaded excessively creating a wet slippery floor and extremely musty smell through the property
