  : The location was excellent and the bed comfortable.
  : The cleanliness in general was dire. Stained bedding, and kettle had a layer of dirt/dust on the lid. We stayed in room 4. The shared bathroom on that floor had a large frosted window down to the floor with no blinds, and the toilet was right next to the window, facing onto a road regularly frequented with cars and pedestrians, so if you had the light on, everyone on the street could see you sitting on the toilet!!! The cord of the kettle in the room was too short to be able to use it on the table, and the only way was to place the kettle on the floor! There was noise throughout the night with a group of around 4 lads - 1 obviously heavily intoxicated - a very intimidating and unpleasant experience for females travelling alone. There was no reception/human staff member on site, but was readily available by mobile phone for check-in.

  : My complain is mainly for the hobs in the kitchen, they are a bit challenging to use because the heat level markings were mostly faded, you just gonna guess which level you are turning on. And all the switch labels for the four hobs had worn off, so it was hard to identify which hob was being turned on unless you physically felt for the heat with your hand.And it seems to be more reasonable if there was one more chair in a twin beds room.

  : The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
  : It was not what I expected. The pictures on Booking.Com are nothing like the room we stayed in and I believe are misleading. There are no staff on site and this is a house with 8 or 9 bedrooms, a shared kitchen and bathrooms. We had to make a phone call to gain admission. Although the decor is clean and seems new, our room felt quite depressing. A lot of young people arrived late at night to occupy other rooms. They went out and came back late and there was lots of noise (very poor soundproofing). I had to get up in the middle of the night to ask them to keep the noise down (no staff!). I booked 2 nights but we had to leave after one due to the train strike. To be honest this was a relief. The property refused any refund for the unused night. I would never ever return here.
