: The Apartment was large enough for a family of 4 with lots of space. You can see Diane and Donald were warm and welcoming hosts. Its a short walk into the centre of the town to all the shops and restaurants* You can see the sea from the living room although it is in the distance and the garden to the property is BEAUTIFUL! There are lots of amazing walks a short drive away Puks Glen and Benmore botanic gardens, also the beaches (Sand or Pebbles over in Ardentiny were lovely. Dunoon is a very quiet town, but is great for rest and relaxtation with stunning walks. It is a great base to visit Inverary, the isle of Bute and surrounding villages. The drive to each of these is breath taking, the roads although small, are very well maintained.
: You perhaps noticed my asterix * beside the word 'restaurants' This is because there arent a great many of them to choose from and booking for any of them is essential. Additionally STAR ratings found on google or trip advisor are misleading. That said, make sure to book, but I can highly recommend "the Lorne"
