  : It is a very well kept hotel for its age. A lot of original 1800's furnishings. Friendly and accommodating staff!! Perfect location!
  : If you are looking for all the bells and whistles of a modern day Hilton, this is not your place. If you love historic places this is it.Parking is minimal.

  : I like the convenience of the historic Inn, close parking, and congenial, helpful staff.
  : There was unusually loud traffic past the inn that we had never experienced previously. The staff explained that new construction in the area had forced more traffic. It was difficult to get restful sleep.The lack of grab bars around the clawfoot tub made the shower a bit tricky for those if us over 70.

  : We always look forward to staying in quaint B&Bs. But we are also looking for higher-end properties. The reviews of this inn were positive, but the reality was somewhat disappointing. The staff was very friendly and we appreciated that.
  : The condition of the room and bathroom, particularly, was less than attractive or desirable. We read good reviews about happy hour and a great breakfast, but neither was available. Instead, we were given a certificate for breakfast at a restaurant a few blocks away. This place has potential, and the house can be lovely with a little freshening up. But it looks like it needs some TLC. We like B&Bs, where there is a lot of personal attention, quality bedrooms, and baths, and a great breakfast. An evening happy hour is a nice touch as well. This one seems to have fallen on some hard times.

  : Location was convenient to historic downtown. Loved the rocking chairs on the spacious front porch. Had fun feeding the squirrels during the social hour.
  : Breakfast was provided through gift cards to a local restaurant. The food was good but the gift cards did not cover the entire costs of the meal. Also, There was limited parking spaces and heavy traffic in front of the inn.

  : My wife & I were disappointed there was no "in-house" breakfast. We were given vouchers to a restaurant downtown. We had to walk downtown both mornings and though we ordered a relatively simple breakfast we paid more than what the voucher was worth. I did not know this was the breakfast arrangement with the Inn when I booked the 2-night reservation, so I felt I was not given the whole story.

  : The off sight location for breakfast was within walking distance of the Inn.
  : I was not aware that The Charleston Inn was no longer serving breakfast.The $10.00 voucher per person per day that we received was not sufficient to cover the cost of the breakfast and gratuity. That was disappointing.
