  : Location is very good - close to Ponte vecchio. The appartment is in a very old building with preserved interior.
  : What is a plus - the old building and interior is also a disadvantage. The place features a veey large room with high ceiling so it was not really cozy. To get to the bed you need to climb a relatively steep stairs.

  : The location was brilliant, the unit itself was huge, clean and tidy. The facilities like washing machine and cooking were an added bonus.
  : If anything, it was a bit noisy from street noise. After a couple of days, we didnt hear it.

  : The street noise was quite loud and the windows didn't really block it out despite being closed. This made sleeptime a slight challenge.

  : Staying in this apartment is really an experience in Florence, a beautiful house, super well maintained and clean and close to absolutely everything.
  : Why a 9 and not a 10? I had to work and the WiFi connection was super slow, but if its not your case, please ignore this.

  : Barbara was an excellent host and her communication with us leading up to checking in and meeting at the apartment was great. Our flight into Florence was diverted to Pisa and she kept in touch with us regarding our new arrival time at the apartment and it worked out great. We did have one very minor issue whereby we didn't have any hot water on our first morning, but I contacted Barbara and her husband sorted it out very quickly. The apartment itself is great, had everything we needed and is in a fantastic location, walking distance to pretty much everything in Florence. We would not hesitate to stay there again if visiting Florence.

  : The apartment is spacious, open, cool, and very charming on the 2nd floor. Plenty of room for 3 adults. The loft bed is a great separation after spending all day w/your peeps, 5 nights stay! The location is great! Its on the other side of the river and its only minutes to walk to the other side. Quicker to walk than to take the bus (close to 2 bus stops). This side of the river is not as crowded. We enjoyed walking thru Ponte Vecchio everyday, also close to 2 bridges. Safe neighborhood, we didnt get back until after dark everyday. Theres a coffee shop across the street and plenty of good restaurants close by. The host is responsive, very helpful, & patient. I would definitely stay here again.
  : Could hear tenant upstairs, on occasion, moving furniture. Basic street noise but my family lives in the country in the US, so the noise bothered them. Silicone ear plugs worked wonders.

  : Definitely my favorite neighborhood in Florence. Less touristy, you really have the feeling of living like a local. The apartment has all essential, can make tea and coffee yourself, equipped with AC and heating. Big space, very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here.
  : Since its an old building, the room is a little dark. But it makes it very warm and cozy.
