  : We had the Bersted Suite; it was extraordinary. We love the room! The continental breakfast was okay in a European style. The grounds are lovely, and the location for us next to Tanglewood was perfect. We thought that we'd discovered a vacation location to return to again and again.We used the pool, which was nice; perhaps a bit cool for a heated pool. It was too cool for my wife to get in.
  : They lit a wood burning firepit outside of the room with massive flames,, and the fire smoke went into our room, making the room completely unusable. The smoke also blew into the dining room and bar, making it impossible for us to enjoy dinner there, so we were forced to go offsite. I complained to the staff, and they refused to relocate the fire, douse the flames or even close the windows to the restaurant. Later, after returning from town, we found our room filled with smokey air, impossible for me to sleep with my asthma. My wife also was coughing and her eyes were burning. We spoke with the manager, who told us that he could not perceive the smoke. However, he did promise to douse the flames, and he offered us an adjacent room, which was much smaller. Instead we opened all of the windows to let the sixty degree air cleanse room. After an hour, it was reduced. The manager told us that he planned to continue to set up the same firepit in the future. We encouraged him to consider a gas firepit, but his response was that people like the natural fire. And that the dining room seemed naturally smokey.

  : We were greeted by James who was welcoming and extremely helpful. The grounds are beautiful and there is a path that leads right to the overflow parking lot of Tanglewood, our destination for the evening. Bed was big and comfortable. Beautiful and clean pool area.
  : The room was clean but the area rug had some pretty noticeable stains. There was shampoo and body lotion, but I was surprised there was no hair conditioner. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.

  : Breakfast was very good, lovely room and outdoor deck with nice view.
  : Musty air quality in room. If I return I will request a room in the main house, not the lodge.

  : Staff very nice, lots of nice , beautiful common areas you could sit and relax at both inside and outside
  : Room had only one chair in it , there should be two . Bar had limited selection of drinks

  : Location was fantastic - we had come to the area to see a show at Tanglewood. View was great from the main house.
  : When we checked in, we lugged all our bags inside before being told we were in a different building. Staff on duty didnt offer any assistance, even though I was alone with two kids and clearly struggling. Staff was very hands off (too hands off). The second night we stayed the restaurant/bar was open and the next morning we went to the main area for coffee and there were dirty dishes left from the prior night all over the place. Room was ok, but our window wouldnt close and the AC was blasting cold - so temperature was all over the place.

  : We booked this location because it was close to Tanglewood. We were able to walk to Tanglewood which was great!! The mountain view was nice and it was a pretty property.
  : They breakfast was not great. For the price we were expecting a better breakfast. Also, I wish there was a sidewalk to Tanglewood.

  : Completely false advertising. There was no restaurant, bar or even reception. No taxis were running and Without a car we felt stranded with restairants too far away to walk. Without an American zipcode restaurants we rang were unable to process payments for food to be delivered. Only for Mint Restaurant showing kindness and delivering us a meal we would have starved.
